Mike's Model Collection

This section is a show case of my personal work done over the past 30 years. Many are scratch built pieces. If you are a newcomer to this hobby you may ask "Why would someone scratch build what already exists?" Reason is, when I did them there wasn't a kit in existance and none of us would ever have dreamed there ever would be. As you can see I was heavily into building Armor. I won many awards with these pieces on both the local and national level. These days though Lone Star Models takes up most of my building time making cockpits and other detail parts.

Enjoy!

Mike's 1:1 scale hobby...

Here are some photos of my other hobby. It is a chopped '66 Bug. 1776 cc modified motor with a Weber 2 bbl. carb. It has won several awards and I am now in the process of repainting it.
